Meet and greet author GregAlan Williams, the author of two critically acclaimed books, host of WCIU-TV's "Know Your Heritage: College Game Show", and, star in more than 100 films and prime-time episodes including, Remember The Titans, The District, City of Angels, The West Wing, Baywatch,The Sopranos, and The Game. We are honored to be one of the first to receive his latest work for a book signing of, "Heart of a Woman."

Drumming instruction by Atiba at Afri-Ware, Inc for adults 10:30am - 11:30am $15. And children 11:30am-12:30pm $15. The class will go for 6 weeks, 2 week break, 6 weeks. Optionally buy Atiba's CD "Karibu" for $15 (Not required for the course).

Black History and Heritage Book Club for parents and children in 2nd through 5th grades
Black History and Heritage Book Club for parents and children in 2nd through 5th grades. Families are invited to join this educational, informational and FUN Heritage Book Club to stay culturally connected in the summertime @ Afri-Ware 266 W. Lake St. Oak Park, 4-5:30pm FREE/Donations appreciated. Upcoming dates are TBA. Each family will read the book before the book club date. Children will prepare a written summary of the book(s) (1 paragraph to 1 page). Families will bring fruit and juice for refreshments. Afterwards, the group will decide to go to a nearby playground or swimming pool. Please pick up copies of the books from Afri-Ware.
